Hey #YugenCommunity !
Last Sunday on the blog I shared a post about two #sustainable jewellery producers from Trinidad who I thought were a GREAT example of how small and medium-sized businesses could implement simple initiatives to make a big difference (if you didn't see it yet, feel free to hop over to the blog and check it out)!
But one thing that I think we can probably all agree on is that in a lot of cases, we don't celebrate and promote eco-friendly businesses as much as we should.
SO, I wanted to counteract that by creating a space where we can chat about our favourite eco-friendly brands and maybe even leave some reviews on their products/services.
That way, we can always check back for advice when we want to try something new ;)
So, I challenge ALL of you guys to comment below and share about at least ONE eco-friendly brand you purchased from and share the details on what the experience was like/how the product worked for you! :D
If for some reason you've never purchased a product you think fits the bill, then you can let us know about one product that you'd like to test out and why it piques your interest!
I'm looking forward to reading your replies!!

I have a beard and just like the hair on your head, it needs alot of TLC. TLC involves washing it with the appropriate shampoo and moisturizer as well as adding oils and balms to lock in moisture and finally passing a comb through it to detangle and bring out the fullness of the beard. My go brand is ClassyGentTT, a local brand focused on mens health and beauty. They supply all the essentials for proper beard grooming and growth. A side from the plastic bottle packaging for the oils( kind of hard to find an appropriate and non expensive alternative) most of their products are natural and come in eco friendly packaging. The oils are made from natural and essential oils such as castor, argon, jojoba, cedarwood etc. They oils provide and lock in moisture in the beard and lubricates the skin to prevent/ relieve itching. There is also the wooden combs for detangling your mane. The balms come in tins that could be refused for DIY products. I mean I can go on and on about the products and why use them but for me ClassyGentsTT is my go to "Eco friendly " brand for my beard needs.
